Microsoft is investing as never before in open source
Interoperability requires, the company continues its rapprochement with the world of free software. It contributes to Apache, language and Ruby Runtime Environment PHP.
The U.S. giant has benefited from the 2008 edition of the O’Reilly Open Source Convention (Oscon, convention dedicated annually to open source software ), which ended Friday, July 25 in Portland, USA, to announce several initiatives strongly accentuating the rapprochement begun with the community “open source” last November.
